The iron is there during my times of happiness, sadness and anger. The iron is there available through the 4 seasons and inclement weather. The iron is there to either comfort me or motivate me. The Iron manages to show me how strong I am or how humble I need to be. The iron does not yell, but it always demands respect. The iron is not a disciplinarian, but when disrespected, I feel it for a long time. The iron does not love or hate, but we definitely share a strong bond. And no matter how far I stay away or for how long, the iron is there, waiting to be lifted.

Cool

Okay,

Let me Propose at least Two New Genres:

Bollywood:

Indian Movies, generally light-hearted and Phun.

Nollywood:

Nigerian Movies—an acquired taste, still rather primative camera/sound/editing work...

But a great glimpse into how other cultures think.

{And most of them are in English.}

And finally:

Sengalese:

Much better technical quality. Often without English Sub-Titles...

I can Half-Way follow Spanish Sub-Titles and the Stories are often strong enough to be interesting even when you can't understand a word.

More Later—Have to Relinquish Computer...

Bollywood, I can't really get in to at all...probably a bit too much musicality for me, since I'm picky with musicals in general, not that people may agree considering I said Grease as one of them.

Never heard of Nollywood or Sengalese.

I've watched one or two spanish movies, especially Benecio del Toro's, but I've never seen any Nigerian or Senegalese films at all. Interesting.

Cool

The Indian Film Industry—And by that I mean Indians from India, not "Real Indians" from America...

Is the Largest Film industry in the World—

In terms of Minutes of Film Shot, Dollars generated and the Number of People who eventually see the Movie.

here is a good one—I watched it on Netflicks:

Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi Hai - YouTube

Here is another very good one:

Dhoom - YouTube

Now interestingly enough, The Nigerian Movie Industry ranks number two...

{And Beaucoup Sexy Black Women!}

{With Hollywood a Distant Third.}

"The Temple of The Sexy Vampire" is about 5 hours long; but it's broken into six parts.

Its free on "U" Tube.

And here is a Sengalese Movie that I watched attentively, despite not understanding one word:

Ma n'doumbe? - Théâtre sénégalais - YouTube

And one that I've only partially watched that has Spanish Subtitles—If you Habla...

Note:

In the Bollywood Movies—What a different view of India you get, than in an American movie about India like "Slum Dogs" or "City of Love."

In the Nollywood Movies—Note the Fortress architecture, the belief in Voodoo, Shamanism and Saintero—And the trash/debris-free streets even in the poor sections.

Sengalese:

Town Roads ankle deep in sand and no gas driven vehicle in sight.

O here is Part One of a Grand Yoruba Movie that I just finished.

{Movies in The Yoruba Language are a subset of Nollywood Movies...

But there are Sub-Titles—Auf Englisch Naturlich.}

If you watch it—note despite how clean the Nigerians keep their streets—how choked with Debris and Trash The Sea is—something that they probably aren't to blame for.

I find myself getting downright cranky and picky what I watch in my old age.

Thank God for Bollywood and Nollywood!

I don't think I've seen that.

Great films set in classical or biblical era

1. Ben-Hur
2. Gladiator
3. Spartacus
4. Troy (not everyone's cup of tea, but I enjoyed it
5. Quo Vadis
6. Alexander (again, I liked it)
7. The Ten Commandments

Personally, I can't stand 300
