This has absolutely nothing to do with hot asians or bubble butts, but I don't have a log here, and it's not my chosen lift for the 25lb. challenge. That being said, I feel like I want to "brag" a little....

("Brag" is in quotes cuz the weight is NOT impressive, but the fact it's my second squat session since the injury makes me feel like it's ok. )

I did 105 reps of squat in 18 min. with 145lb.

..... and then I finished the rest of the workout.

If I were alone in a home gym or something, I would have have been yelling and cussing the whole time. I was in the "the zone". Felt good. And now I'm fucking dead.

Yes. But I already feel the awesomeness that was all of last week setting in.

I really emphasized squeezing my glutes with good mornings this week and upped the weight to 135x3x6. I think I still need to throw some more weight on there though.

Legs are comin 'round....

Ninja Editz - I was in a pissed off mood for no good reason today and all I did was sit at my desk and listen to angry music thinking about tonight's session. I was definitely mentall there. All my assistance work went up too. Great fuckin session tonight.

I did GVT one week and I swear I'd never do it again. I have severe soreness for 9 days.

Did you stop at all?

Bwahahahaha! One week?! I did it for 9 fucking weeks this spring. Talk about psychotic!!

I did 60 sec. rest between sets. The 105 comes into play cuz I said, "FUCK YOU, YOU FUCKING PUSSY" on my last set and busted out 15 reps.

Ah, I remember now. My brain processes so much training info I forgot you did GVT for that long.

I did 225 x10x10 and that was enough for me brother. Over and out!

I ended that 9 weeks at 215 (squatting). Started off at 175 though. 40lb. increase ain't too shabby. Would explain the 1.75" growth of my quads in that time.

GVT is real good for smashing bodybuilding science. It takes (relatively) lighter weight, high volume, and limited exercises, and manages to do what many other routines can't.

I know I'm preaching to the choir...but sometimes it amazes me how little we actually know about muscle growth.
