Muscle Milk for the Brain
But we all know that along with body, comes the mind, which in itself, harbors all true strength. One negative thought can destruct all motivation/progress/positive outlook, and i mean that generally, in relation to life itself, and how you are able to cope with it.
What do you do to keep your mind strong? . . . in order to fight the doubt; to encourage yourself to hang in there; to trust in yourself that you have the ability to make things happen the way you imagine they can happen/should happen; to accept the fact that you are doing/trying the best that you can, and doing all that you are capable of.
What keeps your mind strong enough to fight the thought.....I can't do this anymore.

I learned from Steve to avoid negative people when possible. The life sucker people, who drain the freaking life out if you!
Try to help others anyway you can. I find that to be very helpful.
I also try not to focus on why I can't, or shouldn't or feel too lazy to do something. Doing much of anything makes my head pain worse, so just getting myself to lift is rough. But I try and focus on the task I'm doing and know that the benefits will help make a better me.
Do your best, and you should be satisfied with the results. If you don't give it your all, then you'll be left with "what if", that's a crap feeling

But as for you, be strong and do not give up, for your work will be rewarded.

I totally agree that removing negative people from your life is key, but sometimes, especially times when you, yourself made the choice to have that person in your life, your "decency" and "obligation" keeps you from negating them.
As a person, we are only capable of our own greatest good, and if we are making an honest effort at that, than no matter what we face, there should always be some feeling of contentness stronger than the pull of that negativity on our own happiness.
I guess today i am struggling with accepting that what i am doing is all that i can do. And i should be content and happy with that.

Sheer effort of will. The brute force approach aka "I won't back down", if you like.
How many times have we all known that what it takes in that moment is "yes", but decided "no"... or vice versa? And countless parallel situations, most likely.
Decisions. We make them all the time, from moment to moment, day to day, and so forth. Becoming more aware of this consequently raises our awareness of inner power. And of responsibility, while we're at it.
And, to - probably - misquote some big lifter out there (can't even remember which one, heh):
Motivation is bullshit. Or it could have been: Just ****ing do it. Or both.
edit: Which is not sexy and wouldn't sell books. Or maybe it was in a fricking book. Haha. Possibly a sexy book.

I feed off positivity. Happy groups of people just make me smile. Simply looking for the positives in someone rather than the negatives works wonders.

I've fought clinical depression, suicidal tendencies and all of the bad things because I let myself be a prisoner of my own brain.
If you are looking for any answers, I would invite you to watch some of Elliot Hulse's youtube videos. He has a fascinating approach in life and he takes ideas from every source.
It's helped me become at peace and, although I've had rough patches lately, I feel at peace when I am 'grounded'. I have a lot of ideas of things that has helped me including different ways of meditation and ways to cope with daily stress.
I've learned that there are things you just need to let be, I personally believe in "the universe" and ideas like the law of attraction appeal to me. The sad thing is my own family is people who I need to 'shield' myself from because of their negative and old-fashioned thoughts that have been stifling their happiness for so long.
If you ever need to vent or talk about my ideas, PM me.
