IMO Hanneman is probably one of the most under appreciated guitarist in metal. He seemed to never seek the lime light. And Kerry King always seemed to get more attention, despite the fact that most of the sick ass slayer leads were done by hanneman. Watch some of slayer's videos and you can see how hardcore Jeff Hanneman used to shred.

Alas drinking everyday for 25 years caught up to him. I respect what Slayer did, but i never got into their music. I wonder where Slayer goes from here.

He WAS Slayer! One if greatest metal guitarists ever.
