Default Feeling sick

I have felt like crap all day long. Queasy stomach, throwing up, hot then cold, tired. Layed in bed and on the couch all day long, got up and started to feel better. Now I feel it again. Tired of laying on the couch, and just want to feel better. Hungry as well, but nothing stays down. Have loaded up on the tums, but it is not helping me any

Tums are for indigestion, aren't they? Throwing up, as far as I know, they won't be any good for.

Just might be a case of waiting for it to pass, any idea whether it's a stomach bug or something you ate etc?

that sucks. i hate feeling like that, like you want to do something actively to make yourself better but nothing works. sounds like you might need to listen to your body on this one and just wait it out. maybe it'll pass quickly; i've felt like that before and it only lasted 24-48 hrs.

Pepto Bismol might help a bit, but is a no go if sensitive to asprin, also if nursing,as you may excrete small amounts of salycilate.

Tums can be taken for a sour or upset stomach as well. If I do not have any pepto, I will take tums.

Try gelatin water. Mom used to make it for me when I was a kid, and it always made me feel better. May help to soothe your stomach.

Hope today brought you to feeling better. Sometimes you can not do anything to help but just to rest. Try to push the fluids and sleep all you can and do not overexert yourself or you could make it worse.

Felt better yesterday but stayed home today sick. Now it is coming out the other end. I know a lot of bugs are really going around here. And it totally sucks.
