One of the best decisions I've made (about 10 years ago now).

The benefits will keep on rolling in, over time. You're on your way, so kudos.

I too have quit chewing. I think that it did not really change my workout that much. It actually made me more motivated to go to the gym and do more because it took my mind of wanting to dip! Best of luck to you

I quit last April sometime. I'd like to say it was around 4:00 PM April 27th that I had my last chew...for a while. Then around a month later I started dipping every now and then and that led into me dipping even more and getting even worse teeth than before. I quit again for about 6 days back in late August or early September...only cause I couldn't actually dip though because I was so sick. I decided then I would "Choose" when I did or did not dip.

Here I am again...I have not had a dip since around 5 or 6 PM March 26th, 2013. My teeth look great. They're not perfect, but they are a lot better. I have saved a good bit of money and my workouts are better I think. They seemed to be the last time I actually quit. I enjoyed dipping, but I know it isn't worth losing anything else. It's not worth the money- anything. It's just not worth it.

When you think you can have a little bit, do not. It's easy to think you're not addicted after a while, but you still are. Ever stop lifting and start again sometime later? The strength comes back quicker than before. The same applies to dipping- that addiction surfaces even quicker. Good luck.
