Default Huge Raw Total

On Dec 22nd a guy named Aaron Lawrence hit a HUGE RAW 2315 TOTAL wearing only a Belt and Knee Wraps in a meet in W.Va.

830... 630... 855... = 2315lbs. @ 338lbs.

Well Done.

Won't be long till someone hits 2400 Raw...

Here is what I know..

Man has a 2600@308 (1030,730,840) done it 2006 it is listed on the All-Time 308lb class, he is also ranked #53 on the Raw 600 Bench All Time list (605@296)

A friend of a friend (ha ha) was there and witnessed the lifts, my friend new the meet director and the director asked him to show up and lift after seeing some of his workouts on FB... He just decided to lift for fun and no longer competes.. Just likes to lift heavy things ALOT and often..

He follows a version of the Bulgarian Weightlifting Method.. Squats, Benches and Deadlift 5-6 days a week, took over (7) years to build up to this volume.. Uses no supportive gear, rarely wears a belt

Man is a teacher, ha ha..

Makes you wonder how many people out there in basements just lifting away, unknowingly breaking records.

True.

However these days, and being cynical F'er, having a vid and seeing the standards that the lifts were done to can be important.

However guys clearly a beast regardless! Like the training style too. I'll be too old and beat to do that by the time I ever get a home gym
