theres a typo at the end "Donít add weight if you can complete all the reps in good form."

should be "... if you cant..."

Great article, this looks like very solid program. Reminds me of starting strength with some variations and additions.

I definitely like your additions, I did a similar program to this when I first used rippetoes program, just added things as I went. And learned from myself, and customized it to my likes. Because I was like the beginners you mentioned in your other post, my uneducated thoughts, were how do I get big bis without bicep curls, so I added them. Now I can not remember the last time I did bicep curls, probably been 2 months. O how we learn.

Similar to what you did, and I think this looks like a great program, I may try it when I need to switch things up for a while, good work.

thanks, the funny thing is that my original intention for it was to put together a strength cycle for myself, but by the time i got done i knew it would do well for a beginner also. also check the big thread on bb.com, i have a few more in their like the one Kmano is currently on, and he can attest to the benefits of both routines
