Favorite Reads

I'm always looking for new things to read, new authors to discover. I know we have a "What are you reading?" thread, this one is different. I'm wondering who your favorite authors are, what are your favorite books?

Here's my list:

The Book Thief by Markus Zusak
The Kite Runner by Khaled Husseini
A Thousand Splendid Suns by Khaled Husseini
Angelas Ashes by Frank McCourt
My Sisters Keeper by Jodi Picoult
The Given Day by Dennis Lehane
World War Z:An oral history of the zombie war by Max Brooks
To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee
I Know this Much is True by Wally Lamb

The Mitch Rapp series by Vince Flynn
The Scot Harvath series by Brad Thor
The Camel Club Series by David Baldacci

I know I'll think of more......

I absolutely loved this book. So original! I read it in 2 days -- just all consuming. Where's a pic of the tatt??

Oh ya, the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo series. The 1st 100 pages of book #1 are brutal -- but it's smooth sailing from there.
