I like the ideas coming in. Keep them coming!

One of my sincere hopes for this app is that it will be something I personally could use. There's no good reason to limit the number of sets people can log, to not allow comparisons of previous workouts, etc except for lazy programmers or people who fundamentally do not understand fitness.

I think it might also be fun to include graphs to track progression on lifts, both weight and percentage based to compare progress with other lifts as well.

EASY INPUT!!! Some of the apps I have tried are horrendous when it comes to adding info. Windows too small, multiple clicks or touches needed to record. Want to be able to punch in number, hit enter and be done.

Also, notes or comments that DON'T disappear, next to each exercise.

One of the things I have noticed with ipad,iphone and droid stuff is that most apps seem to be made from former powerbook of pc programs that made use of a keyboard. We need an app that takes into account that the finger is doing most of the input, not a keyboard. I love the apps that use either drop downs or the wheel for input over manually putting the numbers in. Fitocracy is a decent attempt.

and then it can offer you several templates that suit your goal based on top recommended programs by our community leaders. Then it sets up the whole program basically under the guidance of a community expert. I think this is good so people can actually ask any question about the program directly to the person who created it. It could track which program has the most people currently using it and a comments section to see if people are liking it.

I wonder, is it possible to connect to the camera funtion too, so you can shoot video or pics straight from the same app? Maybe with a button next to the exercise, tying it to the exercise. If I am doing bench, I click the button and viola I am recording myself doing the bench press.
