Yeah, Hyper-extentions.

Never seen the point of them to be honest. They're a lower back exercise right? We all know the best exercise for the lower back is.

Perhaps they're more for injury prevention.

Yeah Hyperextensions. When used properly they can be great for glutes and lower back. I implemented weighted hypers a lot which I felt helped my lockouts on deadlifts and really helped strengthen my core.

To each his own though.
