What Caloric intake calculater does everyone recommend?
Myfitnesspal.com has one, is it good to go or is there another one people use?
By caloric intake calculater I mean something that will determine my baseline necessary daily caloric intake. Thanks.

I lost over 100 lbs, and have kept it off for over 1.5 years with NO CARDIO...I use myfitnesspal.com, use their calculator, although I set my % myself....

All the Cardio I do is lift weights faster...

I DO watch and record EVERY calorie, total them up every 2 weeks, see how they affected me, and adjust......2500 cals today will not have the same affect on you as 2500 cals will a year from now.

The iron is not a disciplinarian, but when disrespected, I feel it for a long time. The iron does not love or hate, but we definitely share a strong bond. And no matter how far I stay away or for how long, the iron is there, waiting to be lifted.

According to the calculator on myfitnespal.com my maintenance daily calories is 2,840.
Today's breakdown:
Total Calories: 2,698
Carbs: 296; Fat: 103; Protein: 149

Carbs where a little high, Protein was a bit low. I had a carb heavy breakfast which probably threw my carbs a bit higher than they should normally be. Anyway, I came in below maintenance today. Victory.

530 Calories Under Maintenance

Notes:
I am really not even concerned about having a caloric deficit this week. I am more just trying to a.)keep track of calories and b.) hit maintenance if possible. However, with just a few good choices I came in at 500 under.
I'll take that.
I weighed in last night at 280.
I still want to get my protien up a bit more and my carbs down a bit, but I am stepping in the right direction. I anticipate a few blips on the radar, days where I completely fail. But to me, the fact that I am keeping track at doing a decent job at calorie control is a victory.

I don't know if it's of any interest or if you can get hold of it but there's a book called Volumetrics which details how to add volume to a meal without the cals; it's an interesting read, perfect for those that need filling up whilst dropping cals, also ideal for those to read that want to use it in a reverse sense and know where to get the cals etc.

Came in 171 calories under maintenance today. To my detriment I have yet to start cooking all my meals. I am a busy man and some weeks I just don't have enough time in the day.
Had I ate a more sensible breakfast and took it just a wee bit easier on dinner, I could have easily came it at 500 under maintenance.
So, my take away from today was that i really need to cook my breakfast the night before, even if I don't cook any other meal.
Also, got my protonz up. Happy about that.

I will consider today another success. I would have liked to come in 500 under maintenance, but my goal for this week and next is just to hit maintenance. Therefore, I met my goal. This journey continues tomorrow, I am enjoying getting more intimate with my diet and I am enjoying learning an aspect of lifting I have long neglected. I feel like a beginner all over again learning and excited.
