very good point - Kiefer recommends going overboard then dialing back as necessary but it seems as though most people on the DH forum the exact opposite - start conservatively and increasing accordingly.


FWIF I've found the workout volume plays a large role in carb intake. I think one of the main reasons I've been getting away w/ 2-3x bw in carbs is due to my high volume workouts (200-300 "working reps")

Ha! It worked! Woke up tight, weighing 232.8. Cut calories and and slowed down carbs last night, while also keeping it kinda clean.

Back load.
15g. dextrose in pwo
2 bananas
everything bagel
chicken and a 150 g. potato
"Price" 1 cup jasmine rice, scoop chocolate wpc, and 2 T peanut butter

Let me know how the carbs on back to back rest days works out. I just had two back-to-back rest days on Friday and Saturday; no carb meals, but I did drink fairly heavily on Saturday night. Still had a killer workout today.

Did a mild back load. Fries, BBQ baby back ribs, lots of ketchup, a Greek yogurt, a chicken sandwich, and half a bottle of wine. Woke up looking lean, wife even said my waist looked skinny.

Not to bad. Weight down a little after 4k+ calories is good.

I forgot but 3 people have said I look like I'm losing weight. Kind of embarrassing, wish they said I'm looking ripped. Oh well I just replied I'll have to start eating more.
