Default KB Swing Challenge

The rules:
  • 1 set ONLY: no rests or pauses, at any point in the swing, if that occurs, the set ends.
  • Double-hand grip: to ensure all lifters are using the same grip.
  • 20kg KB (44 lb/45 lb; depending on the load listed on the KB for those in lb)
  • 16kg KB (35 lb)



No vid required, but feel free to post one if you like; this is on the honour system.

You can enter as many times as you like, to try and outdo your own total or that of another poster.






NB:Because some people don't have access to a 20kg KB, I've included a 16kg KB category as well; both will be listed as leaderboards, in this post; please ensure you stipulate which weight KB (of the 2 choices listed) you used as well as the reps done. You can enter both, if you have access to both weightloads.

I'd prefer people don't use a weight plate because I don't want to feel responsible when they take out their kneecaps Hopefully, this will keep a degree of safety within this challenge.

Default KB Swing Challenge

186 reps @ 16kg

...oh so close to 200 but my forearms were on fire and thought I might lose control, sending the KB across the room into my daughter's head.
