I really like this guy.
He does a High Bar Full Squat like someone who Respects the lift.
He takes far fewer breaths between Squats than I used to when I did the 20 rep Squat...
Meaning he's working more intensely.
I was a bit surprised that his thighs were no thicker than they were, given his strength...
But apparently he worked them too fast for his Pump to catch up.
When he did the singles his thighs looked about three Inches bigger around.
I don't know why some folks make a virtue out of Not Wearing a Belt.
The only time I remove my belt is when exercising my Back or Mid-Section—Deadlifts, Hyper-Extensions, Sit-Ups, Cleans—That sort of thing.
I firmly believe that constricting the Ribcage and Diaphragm with a good tight Belt will even help you get more Reps Even on Wrist Curls or Neck Work.
You just cheat yourself of Extra Hypertrophy Stimulating Reps when you don't Cinch Up Good and Tight.
But it doesn't seem to hurt him.
Wonder what kind of Schedule he was on? How many days per week did he do the 20 Rep Squat?
It's a shame that High Rep Bench Presses don't work nearly as well as 20 Rep Squats.
Yeah, I noticed that he had a Training Log Link.
Spine Problems and continued regrowth of Bone Spurs in his Elbow forced him not only to give up Competition, but to pretty much give up Weight Training altogether.
A couple of days ago, I was in Blissful Ignorance of the man.
Now the thought of him makes me sad.
Good Set of 20 Rep Squats though.
