'Tis true. I did. And I second the sandbag. It's all a n00b needs and will not get you "bulky". But then again, neither will powerlifting routines, but no one ever believes us. <facepalm>
P.S. I would not use this video for your routine. This is more for cardio, but at least it will give you some ideas. There are inifinite other things you can do with it.
Oh, also, this bag goes from 25lb. to 150lb. in 25lb. increments. I highly doubt I'll need all 150 any time soon though unless I'm doing some drags.
