#5 hits home as I already have a faulty, underproductive, thyroid I take meds for.

So the theory that if you want to be 200 lbs. eat like you ARE 200 lbs. is an "out of fashion" concept? What's a safe over-feeding/calorie surplus ratio? Is there really one? Is it needed to grow?
