This is great for muscle soreness, to help one relax in general and before bedtime in particular. It has a wide variety of uses, calcium helps relaxing the muscles; lack of calcium can lead to muscle cramps and spasms.
Magnesium "smoothens" out the nerves and act together with calcium to make you relaxed and as a natural sleeping aid.
Put 1 level tablespoon of calcium gluconate in a normal-sized drinking glass.
Add one half level teaspoon of magnesium carbonate.
Add 1 tablespoon of cider vinegar (at least 5 % acidity).
Stir it well.
Add one half glass of boiling water and stir until all the powder is dissolved and the liquid clear. (If this doesn’t occur it could be from poor grade or old magnesium carbonate, or insufficient cider vinegar.)
Fill the remainder of the glass with lukewarm water or cold water and cover.
The solution will stay good for two days.
Above compounds can be obtained in health stores and is very cheap.
This is great to prevent and take care of DOMS.
Also found that it help to treat muscle pulls much faster to get me back under the bar.
