I did feel like I lost a little explosion. I play a little pick-up basketball in the winter and eventhough my cardio was a shit ton better, it seemed like I wasn't as quick and couldn't jump as high. So, from an athletic standpoint, I'd say it hurt a little bit there.
However, the added 10lb. of mass REALLY helped my numbers in the gym. I finished that back in march at 185 and 12% (almost 13%) bodyfat. I've been able to maintain at 180 and about 10% BF. All of my max effort lifts have shot through the roof.
I'm doing my first ever powerlifting meet this weekend (RAW) and will exceed a 1,000lb. total.
