Haha, yeah. My favourite variations on this theme are these:

"My legs are genetically huge anyway; leg work is unnecessary"

"I run, so I don't need to do leg work"

(or, even better...) "I walk, so I don't need to do leg work"

"I have back/knee/whatever problem x, y or z, so I can't do leg work" (when they are clearly lying, I mean)
