-Chest day- First day of my 6 month progress check. The goals in my sig are goals that I wanted to reach by the time I was 44. That is 6 years away. I thought that would be a reasonable amount of time to hit these goals. I am 20lbs away from my bench press goal as of today! Looks like I am gonna have to raise that number.

245 x 5- I did not feel as though I was getting warmed up very well at this point so I did 5 reps to get the blood flowing a little better.

325 x 1-My wife and oldest daughter were spotting me on this one. There was a slight miscommunication and they grabbed the bar right at the end of the rep. Thankfully, I was able to get 330 so there wouldn't be any doubts.
330 x 1- I stopped here. It was doubtful that I would be able to go any heavier. With my wife and daughter spotting me, I didn't want to push my luck.

- I was supposed to just do a regular workout on these, but I shortened my workout to get my wife and daughter back home before they got too bored, so this ended up being sort of a max effort.
