I agree completely. A lot of women are training because they want a body that's attractive to men (and I'm not being sexist here, because a lot of men are doing the converse). But seeing as very few men find women BB attractive, it means that they - the women - are doing it entirely for its own merits. They're operating on their own aesthetic, and they don't give a shit if that's different from everyone else's. There's a kind of purity to that I really admire.
Anything that challenges traditional gender perceptions in such a direct way is never going to be popular.
It's still not to my tastes, though.
