Some people's excuse is, their parents (and possibly communities as well) suck, and opportunities like that don't just happen to come along for them. Sadly.

He's very lucky, as well as very strong (in more than one way).

But sure, I agree for the most part. And that was a very cool video. Thanks for posting it.
