CREW BENCH DAY

for being back with the Crew. They were like my wingmen today, and because of it I was able to get 6 reps across the board for all 4 working sets. Really pleased with the proceedings today. I was able to remain tight for all reps in all sets, even the 185X12. This is huge for me. It has taken me a whole year to learn how to get tight and stay tight. I think it's the hardest part of the technique to learn.

Forearm felt OK, except on pull ups. david fixed it up and said it was 100% on Friday. However, I seemed to hurt it reaching for a watermelon at Costco right after my physio session. I just said to myself "seriously" and then dropped an F-bomb(s). It seems to be in a slightly different area of the forearm tho. Becaause of this, I thought I would roll with my scheduled 4X6, but with no heavy singles. heavy singles would be a bit too risky today. progress was made because 225 last week presented a huge problem for my forearm. Didn't feel any pain this week, and managed to get all 6 reps for all 4 sets. I think this in itself is progression, as I don't recall ever being able to do a 4X6 with 225 before, especially so smoothly. 5th and 6th reps were a challenge, but by no means grinders.
