Don't you mean July 9th?

w/r/t chinups, all I can say is I just finally hit 9 in one set after an ENTIRE YEAR of chinning. You could always add more sets. Do chins on your off days, do 'em between bench sets. Volume seems to be the key to getting good at chins.
