Last heavy deadlift session before competing in 20/7, going for speedwork and squats training for the comp!
I have also started to do direct calve work as often as I can. My calves are my weak link right now, they cramp up very easy and especially when doing tire or stones. Need to figure this out.
Deadlift from 10cm blocks
Dbl oh, beltless
3x240kg - PB w/o a belt. Easy.
Farmers, low pick - speed training
5x106kg each hand, all runs below or around 10s.
Finisher - 106kg bags for 20m, run back, 120kg bags for 20m -I died a little from this.
4x400kg - Easy. More in the tank but could not get my flip right since my calves were cramping up as soon as I get up on my toes.
A little light stone lifting and thats it.
