I'd never done 20 rep squats before, but I believe I could have used a little more weight, because this weight wasen't as hard as I thought it would be. I was initially going to just use the bar.
Bench Press (DB)
I assume the workout calls for barbell bench press, but since I don't have a workout partner, I always use dumbells.
This is an exercise I'm still learning. I feel like my form goes all to hell once I get past about 75lbs. I can still feel my back working, but more so my arms.
Abs: Leg Raises 3x20
I'm liking this workout so far. Now if I can just get my diet on point, and eat enought to make this all work. I'm definately going to put y'all suggestions into action, especially in terms of adding elements to regular protein shakes rather that buying weight gainers. I've gotta get some tomorrow, any suggestions for a good brand that cost effective?
Gidday mate, You have a starting point for your 20 rep squats now so just slap some more weight on , nothing to be afraid of.Good work on everything else. On your rows, try some fat gripz or underhand grip to really smoke your back muscles. As for protein powder, There is a shop here that sells some good stuff, Cheers Nath.
