I tend to go for the "weird stuff", so chances are it wouldn't suit you (maybe even most people). Things like A Game of Thrones, and Doctor Who (both ongoing series). The former is bleak, and the latter can be a bit silly, but they both have merit, I think.

The Walking Dead is... okay, except for the fact that I hate most of the characters. Seriously, couldn't care if they get eaten. The sooner the better, actually.
