I descended down and I put on the breaks nice and deep in the hole and nothing happened, I kept going down. Bad day in the gym. I have been training heavyish I guess for a fear while now. My last squat session was at 155kg do yous think the 7.6 kg jump was too much for 5x5, or should I have taken a deload at some point because I can't remember when I took one before. I'm really gutted ay, do yous think this will be a major set back ? I want a 500 pound squat and its currently 405.

Cheers Nath.
hi nath, you are squatting some really good weight, I only jump up 2.5kg a time now squats and dead lifts I cant handle 5kg jumps. I don't see this is a set back just a matter of your CNS failing you but I could be wrong, see what the more experienced guys have to say, just my 2p worth.
