Today was a load of benching and squatting for a change!! Bench has been put on maintenance right no due to really increasing volume and frequency for my deadlift, I am really enjoying the current setup cos benching is easily my least favourite of the big 3. Anyways I got a fair amount of work done before switching to SSB Box squats, these were hell on my back (in a good way) and worked me good. I spent a lot of time digging knots out of my glute med and hip flexors, its nice not to have a constant ache there right now!

So the way I have been using the SSB lately is to hold it out by where the rings would be instead of using the handles.When I use the handles and hit depth my arms rest on my thighs and I think it helps me fire out of the hole. Gripping the bar wide really makes you work, if you donít stay tight you eat floor!
