Thanks hunter but I can not really se the benefit of the shrugs as an assistance lift, a couple of years ago I hammered them real hard and ended up shruging somewere around 900lbs for a triple, did nothing for my deadlift over that period except putting stress on my back that held me back from deadlifting often enough and making me more prone to injury=)
