I don't know what you'd call it, it's a 6 week extensification phase is pretty much all I know, but we normally hit most of the body every session on accessory days then It pretty much heavy squats/deads on day 3 and 5 and heavy bench on day 1. I think it's a pretty stupid way to train just because of the volume/breakdown in form, I used a VERY conservative max going into this cause I knew if I used a full one I'd miss weight which is not what I like. After this meet, I'll be looking for a coach that has similar philosophy to mine. I don't see the point in running myself into the ground for 6 weeks when I can make just as much progress training with less volume and the same weights, with no form breakdown
