Sounds like insulin spike to me. You get almost a drunk feeling from it.
As far as the supps go on cbl. I feel that dextrose is pretty important. I put 15g of dext in my post workout shake with 5g creatine and it gets me all spiked up and ready to eat a bunch. Bulk dextrose is cheap as hell too, which is a bonus.
