Thanks. Hopefully everybody else will find it funny. On the subject. I have done meets that had the strict curl and the bench for reps along with the traditional powerlifting and it does add some uneeded length to bigger meets. I love the overhead press but if you want to see it contested, I would rather it be put back in with the C&J and Snatch. Let a powerlifting meet, be the three power lifts. I have talked to a competitive lifter from the seventies and eighties who told me the old AAU meets would consist of powerlifting, olympic lifting, bodybuilding, and arm wrestling. You could compete in what you wanted. Now that would be a long day!
