DEATHLIFTS

Foam roll and band stretches
Sat on a golf ball at work to relieve the knot in my glute. Worked a treat

Deathlifts
60kgs x 10
100kgs x 5
140kgs x 1 overhand and 1 mixed
170kgs x 1
Add belt
190kgs x 1
205kgs x 1
215kgs x 1
225kgs x 1
Add straps
180kgs x 3, 3

Block pulls from just above knee
170kgs x 10, 10, 9

Pull ups
BW x 14, 12, 8.5 loads more reps than last time

DB rows
60kgs x 15 per arm PB (I think)

Deadlifts were feeling really explosive until 205 then I had to get angry. 225 was never in danger but it wasn't as fast as I'd have liked. Put straps on for the back off sets and they felt much better. I can really keep the bar in closer with them. Need to work on involving my lats more. Was so close to getting all of the reps on block pulls. Form was better on these too; more explosive. Pull ups were vastly improved. I seem to be getting my technique down on these again. DB rows were strong as well: the gym needs bigger dumbells

Overall I am pleased with how I'm progressing but I would trade the assistance PBs for a bit more power on the pulls. Slowly slowly catchy PB though.
