I think it is easy to attack "society". Plato, started it in the "modern" world but apparently anyone who wants to be anyone in the modern world has to attack the status quo or be seen as a failure in his guru-ness.
This guy has some base level knowledge, but chooses satire like the Simpsons to prove his point. I wonder what Rousseau or Samuel Johnson would think about him?
He has first level thinking. He needs to go further, but he is too dismissive and more importantly lacks an awareness that others might be striving for that same thing, just not along HIS path.
The human condition is a strange thing. Quantify it at your peril. People will surprise you. Most notibly people from the past who have already anticipated you and gone beyond your linear type thinking. It surprises and hurts, bt it makes you grow.
