3/9/2013 Events day.....kind of
Got to see the guys from Quad City Strongman which is always a blast. Funny ass dudes who mostly make me feel tiny. I took it very easy today. No need to wind right back injured after the layoff I had this fall/winter.
310X50' drop and turn at 25'
400X15' didnt feel right so I shut it down
Zombie Style Front squats:
Mainly did these just because it was set up and to keep pressure off my wrist.
10 inch log press:
I really hate the 10 inch log, but I didnt really set myself up properly
Didnt use tacky here mostly because I didnt want to clean it up. Couldnt get a decent grip on the stone with just chalk
I saw no reason to push these any farther.
Notes: Took it easy like I said I would for once. Cant wait to get more consistent here in the future. Having a nice stuffed pizza for a cheat meal and maybe a few beers later.
3/11/2013 Speedy(kinda) bench day

Close Grip Floor Press:
Workout Notes: Short, but effective today. Worked last last night and slept only about 6 hours. I had to get my work in, but I also need to sleep so I can work overnight. Bench felt good. Triceps where sore from Saturdays log pressing, but got bench done anyway. I am happy with how bench is progressing even though I am not going super heavy with it at this point. Bench wasnt as fast as I wanted, but was still pretty speedy.

Clean and Strict Press: 175X3
12 inch Log Press: 250
Atlas Stone: 300 over 48" bar
Hummer Tire Dead: 500X3
18" Deadlift: 550
