The other day I got a new PR with my bench which previously was only 200lbs for 1 rep, and last workout I blew it out of the water.
Normally, when I train I am by myself and don't want to push the weight so heavy that I crush myself. But I had a friend over to help me on my last set. I've never had anyone come into my weight room with me and I was pumped up to show him what I could do. I had adrenaline running though me.
When the plates were loaded up the 200lbs I ended up doing 10 reps out of no where, and to the strangest part was that the first rep felt like 75lbs ( I was beyond shocked)
What's a good way to boost adrenaline? Because I wouldn't have been able to do that if I wasn't pumped up!
