Letting the camera distract me can be a problem too. Learning to just set up the vid recording and just take my time get my head in what I'm doing produces much better results. Also the psyched thing doesn't work for me unless I go to a very dark place. I prefer to just use positive affirmation: see it, believe it, concentrate on the details of the lifts never question the lift just DO IT!
A big portion of this sport is mental. Focus on the positive its empowering & contagious.
