It took me a while to get at what you are saying as I was thinking something else when I asked the question, but you actually answered the question I should have been asking in terms of conditioning. I agree with you on the hip position as I think it is more natural to do what puts you into the best position, or at the very least avoid the things that put you in a bad position on the squat. Nice sarcasm on your flexibility, but you do have some long ass legs that have to go somewhere out of the way!
