Cube Squat session

Foam roll and stretch

Squats with straight bar
Raw up to 100kgs
Add suit straps down and knee sleeves
140kgs x 3
Add belt
170kgs x 2
185kgs x 2
200kgs x 2
Add loose knee wrap
210kgs x 3

Wide stance GMs
60kgs for 3 sets of 12

Barbell lunges
Bar for 10 per side
30kg and then 40kgs for 10 per side

GHRs
BW for 3 sets of 8

Weighted plank
Start with BW for 10seconds, add a plate, 10 seconds, another plate... Went up to 3 plates and then back down to nothing. This hurt a lot and luckily Pete refused to let me quit like I wanted to at the first plate.

Squats felt great today. Felt nice to be able to widen my stance a bit and sit into the suit. Everything moved fast and had some more in the tank. Solid first session back.

Then the hell started. GMs with the wide stance are horrible. Lunges are horrible. GHRs after all that lot are HORRIBLE. Thought planks might be a nice lie down but they weren't. Tough session but felt great to get through it. Only took 90minutes as well!

Onto the Cube proper next week so will detail my whole cycle later this weekend.
