Yep, not the first time this topic has come up, but your point certainly applies to all facets of life.

WRT lifting and the forums, I have usually thought that if someone posts up a vid, they are open to receiving at least some critique. If I see a glaring error, I will usually point it out, but in a respectful way. I simply don't like sugar coating a vid. This is the only time I will give advice that wasn't directly asked for.

I think I know who you mean tho, which is 1 reason I left the other forum.
