Overall Workout Grade: B+
Worked out at a different time than usual, earlier in the day. It kind of through me off just a bit. Still felt like a solid session however.
The top set of OHP was a grinder of epic proportions. It wasn't a grinder form breakdown wise, as my form remained solid and true. But the bar speed slowed way down and I really had to gut it out and just push! It was awesome that I nailed with what felt like no hitch or cheat, just kept right on pushing until that bitch locked out.
I broke a mirror before starting CGBP, so on my top set I went for 13. It made sense to me in the moment.
Rest of the session was pretty standard. Felt like a good way to start the new year.
Had kind of a funny moment. My brother has been in town from Wisconsin. He kind of lifts sometimes but is getting back into it. He asked me about my curl form vs. his. I looked at him and told him "it's an f'n curl dude, don't worry so much about it". Just seemed to catch him off guard.
