I had kind of a crappy workout today, went pretty much like my last chest day. Wanted 220x8x3 on bench but didn't even get my first set. Then didn't hit 205 for 8, and it was downhill from there. I was pretty frustrated but I just think I didn't eat enough yesterday or drink enough water probably. My training partner agreed to deload with me for leg day on wednesday and friday's back day. Then the weekend off and we should be back in the groove. He actually didn't get his first set to 8 either. He has never taken a deload, so I think he will be surprised how good he feels on monday. Hope everyone has a merry christmas.
