Anyone following this log, realizes I have been on the fence about the new FB routine I have been using. After some long and hard though over the weekend, I have desided to return to Hepburn training.....
I know it has only been 2 weeks, but my enthusiazm had DRASTICALLY gone down, and for the first time since I lifted that first dumbell back in my P90X days, I am looking for reasons to skip my workouts.....definatley no good, and something I NEVER experienced while Hepburn training...in fact I often had to force myself from working out too much.
So tonoght I will do some heavy dead and Mil Press work, Wednesday some Squat and heavy Benck work. Friday will be December Deadlift Challange. Next week getting back into shape for heavy lifting, and return to Hepburn 12-31-12.
I will alter my routine just a little, First, I am not going to use Hepburn style for squats because of the arthritis in my hip, I am not sure what rep and weights schedule I am going to use, but it will be different. Second I am going to do the "Rep" sets a little different, 3 sets all out, with a 25 rep goal. and Third, I am moving from the 4 day a week, Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri, to Mon - Wed - Fri...A-B-A one week, B-A-B the next.

The iron is there during my times of happiness, sadness and anger. The iron is there available through the 4 seasons and inclement weather. The iron is there to either comfort me or motivate me. The Iron manages to show me how strong I am or how humble I need to be. The iron does not yell, but it always demands respect. The iron is not a disciplinarian, but when disrespected, I feel it for a long time. The iron does not love or hate, but we definitely share a strong bond. And no matter how far I stay away or for how long, the iron is there, waiting to be lifted.
