I have to side with the west side boys on this one, in that for anyone who needs to train multiple skills such as athletes should not use a LP plan, but if for instance you wanted to focus on one specific skill such as maximal strength (of course there should be some over lapping skill improvement for other areas) then it maybe fine for a short duration.
