Maybe I am crazy but if you are going to quit something - Juust Quit!! It is easier in the long run.
When I quit smoking 6 years ago I first tried the taper approach and failed..... then I just made up my mind and quit....6 years - no smoking.
Will power- it works!! If you need caffiene, drink coffee or caffienated water. If you need sugar eat cake untill you can kick the habit. Just my two cents. Good luck
