DYNAMIC EFFORT BENCH PRESS

Incline dumbell bench, face pulls and foam roll to warm-up

Speed bench against 20kgs of chain
Using slingshot
Week 3 of 3
Bar for 3 sets of 3
50kgs for 2 sets of 3
Add slingshot
80kgs x 3
Working sets
95kgs for 3 sets of 3 POR grip
110kgs for 3 sets of 3 Competition grip

Remove chains and add 2 board
110kgs x 3
130kgs x 3
Add shirt
150kgs x 2
165kgs (opener) x 1 Pressed it so fast that I bobbled the lockout
175kgs (projected second attempt) x 1 Very nice rep. Controlled onto the board, threw it back up and held it solid at lockout.

Big Pete was struggling with the hand off at this point so I made the decision to leave it there and go into the meet positive rather than deal with more unskilled handlers and risk injury.

Great finish to my shirt work for the meet. Washed it last night and dried it quickly near the radiator so it was nice and snug. Definitely set for the meet. Video to follow.
