I usually print up a copy of my plan for the day each gym session, and use a clipboard. If all goes well, I'll make a mark indicating good-to-go. If not, a mark for that as well with any mods or corrections.
I'll then come home and enter it into the forum to track it..
I use Excel to format the workout plan, and no fancy formatting. Just for organization and easr of reading..
