Steve, it wasn't that close. I'm done going "Johnny guns a blaz'n into PR's". I tried it again today on the Bench Press and failed. I'll step into them in 5 to 10 lb increments, unless the planets align and the day is a dang good day.

I decided to go for PR's in all my lifts today so I can see where I truly am as I get ready for next years comp.

Squat: 45 lbs 5 x\ 135 2x\ 225 1x\ 275 1x\ 285 1x PR I knew I had a lot left in my squat, that was a 40 lb jump

Bench 45 10x\ 135 2x\ 245 missed\ 235 missed

Deadlift: 135 3x\ 225 1x\ 315 1x\ 325 1x\ 330 1 x PR

I didn't want to leave without a bench PR. I knew it was there if I went at it smart this time. I went for it again

Bench: 230 1x PR

So now as I get ready for the competition my lifts are:
Bench: 230 Goal: 310
Squat: 285 Goal: 365
Deadlift: 330 Goal: 410

I want these by the last week of February
